Hello! Harry Du here, and you are on my blog! :)
I am a Chinese Immigrant who now currently residents in the the U.S. It has some been sometime since I moved, about four years. It really has been a journey that shaped who I am and hopefully I will get to tell you about it on my blog someday. I started blogging even when I was in China and I started this blog a little over a year ago, it has been a working progress and I will hopefully continue to watch over it as it grows.
I have always been interested in writing blogs. One , it provides a platform for me to express who I am and what I think about the mundane, the weird and the interesting part of my life. It also allows me to share my lyrics to the world, you can enjoy it as a potential song lyrics or poems and I would not hunt you down for reading it either way. I have been writing lyrics continuously for 4 years and I can guarantee you that I have improved over the course, the selection you see here is only the tip of the ice berg and hopefully you will enjoy it!
Why do I write lyrics? Good question. It is like asking a photographer why do they like to take pictures. For them, it is the preserving of a beautifully moment, for me, it is the recording a evanescent human emotions. All of my lyrics have real life emotions in them, and every rhyme and chorus urges you feel something, I hope it will as least . :P
As you read some of my older posts, you will sure find out that I am a Christian. It has been a part of my life for many years and it is one of my spiritual supports. If you are turned off by religiosity, just know I wouldn't been preaching on here, though I wish I have the ability to do so. However, I will discuss religion and faith in a pseudo intellectual manner on here, if you wish to hear what I have to say, I am grateful.
